As part of the “Bring It Home” imitative, SEMMCHRA is now accepting applications to assist certain Goodhue, Wabasha and Winona County communities in applying for the historic State funding in housing. Capacity is often the prohibiting factor in applying for funding. This grant opportunity is designed to assist the local communities in addressing the staffing and financial issues.
Eligible applicants must be a local government, nonprofit, landlord or developer in addition to meeting other requirements. The application and a full list of requirements, can be found online at www.semmchra.org/community-development/
We ask members of the public to contact their local government, contractors, or favorite nonprofit and encourage them to apply for these funds. Applications close March 8, 2024. This is an equal housing opportunity program.
