Home Stretch is an in-person training geared toward helping people understand the homebuyer process.  Whether you are a first time homebuyer or a current owner looking for a refresher, Home Stretch has you covered.

Home Stretch covers topics like:

  • Determining an Affordable Payment
  • Budgeting for Homeownership
  • Credit Reports & Credit Scores
  • Finding a Lender
  • Choosing a Mortgage Product
  • Finding and Working with a Real Estate Agent
  • Purchase Agreements
  • Homeowner’s Insurance
  • Closing on the Loan
  • Home Maintenance

The Home Stretch class is 8 hours long and is offered either on Tuesday and Thursday night from 6-10 PM or on a Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The cost of the class is $25 per household.  Please see the Home Stretch schedule below for a list of available class dates and times.

Framework

Prefer to take the class online?  Framework is an online homebuyer education class that covers many topics related to the homebuying process.  If you are required to take a homebuyer education class, please check with your lender to determine if Framework is accepted.

The cost of Framework is $75.
